At Incheon Airport, most check-in is self-service kiosks now. You barely need to speak — but if a staff member helps you, 여기요 + pointing works. For overweight bags: '짐이 좀 무거울 수 있는데요' (my bag might be a bit heavy...) with the ~는데요 softener.
