탑승 수속 is the formal term on signs. Everyone says 체크인 (check-in, Konglish). ~하려고요 (I'm here to~) is the natural way to state your purpose.
Airport check-in phrases

좌석 (seat, formal) → 자리 (seat, casual). 배정해 주십시오 → 주세요. Same result, half the words.
At Incheon Airport, most check-in is self-service kiosks now. You barely need to speak — but if a staff member helps you, 여기요 + pointing works. For overweight bags: '짐이 좀 무거울 수 있는데요' (my bag might be a bit heavy...) with the ~는데요 softener.
