📺 In context
Quitting in Korea requires a CONVERSATION first, not just a letter. Tell your direct supervisor in person before any formal paperwork. Blindsiding them = burning bridges for life.

Korean resignation etiquette: 1) Tell your boss in person first. 2) Be grateful and positive — never badmouth. 3) Offer thorough 인수인계 (handover). 4) Give proper notice (usually 1 month). 5) Leave on good terms — Korea is small and industries talk.
💡

Korea is a small country with tight industries. People who quit badly become 업계 블랙리스트 (industry blacklist). Your old boss might know your new boss. Your coworker might become your client in 3 years. 인맥 (personal connections) is everything in Korean business. Quit gracefully, ALWAYS.
