Korean clubbing is a GROUP activity. Going alone is rare. The standard flow: 1차 dinner → 2차 drinks/bar → 3차 club. Nobody goes straight to the club. The pre-party is as important as the party.

홍대 is THE nightlife area for young Koreans (20s). 강남 = more upscale/expensive. 이태원 = more international. Each area has its own vibe and crowd. Choose based on mood, budget, and who you're with.
Korean club tip: many clubs in 홍대 have free entry before a certain time (usually 11 PM). After that, cover charges range from 10,000-30,000 won and usually include one drink. Dress code varies: 홍대 is casual, 강남 is more dressy. Check Instagram before going — clubs post their DJ lineups and events.
