Direct disagreement in Korean meetings = career suicide. 조금 다르게 생각하다 (think a bit differently) is the polite way to say 'you're wrong.'
Meeting softeners
~인 것 같아요I think maybe~ (hedging)
~어떨까요?How about~? (suggesting without pushing)
혹시 ~면 어떨까 싶은데요I was wondering if maybe~ (maximum softness)
제 생각에는요~In my humble opinion~ (with trailing ~)
Every opinion must be wrapped in softeners. The more layers, the more polite. Junior staff triple-wrap their opinions.
Meeting vocabulary
Korean meetings often have pre-meetings (사전 미팅) where the real decisions happen. The actual meeting is often just for formal approval. If you skip the pre-meeting, you miss everything.
