Textbook would say첫 번째 눈이 내리고 있습니다cheot beon-jjae nun-i nae-ri-go it-seum-ni-da
Kim Shin's iconic line. Uses the poetic plain form (~다) instead of formal speech. 첫눈 is a compound word (first + snow) — textbooks would break it apart. In Korean culture, watching first snow together means your love will last.

Textbook would say당신은 저의 신부입니다dang-sin-eun jeo-ui sin-bu-im-ni-da
The ~야 ending is intimate casual speech (반말). 내 (my) instead of formal 저의. Kim Shin says this possessively, not politely — it's a declaration, not a request.

Textbook would say저에게 왜 그러시는 건가요jeo-e-ge wae geu-reo-si-neun geon-ga-yo
Real speech: 나한테 (to me, casual) vs textbook 저에게 (to me, formal). 왜 그래 (why like that) is the most common way to express frustration — much shorter than the textbook version.

The most common way to say "I missed you" in real Korean. ~었어 (casual past) instead of ~었습니다 (formal past). No one says the formal version to someone they love.
