~다며? (I heard that~?) is how you share exciting news. Korean baby gifts: usually 금 (gold) accessories or cash. 100일 (100th day) and 돌 (1st birthday) are the BIG celebrations. The 돌잡이 (fortune-grabbing ceremony) predicts the baby's future.
