Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of rovn.io ("ROVN", the "Service"), operated by 로븐 ("Rovn", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ROVN provides Korean language learning content — courses, lessons, audio pronunciation, quizzes and related features. Core content is currently provided free of charge, supported by advertising.

2. Accounts

• You may sign in using a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate others.
• You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (see our Privacy Policy).

3. Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute the Service's content or audio files.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Service — lessons, phrase curation, audio, design and code — is owned by or licensed to Rovn and protected by applicable copyright laws. You may use the content for personal, non-commercial learning. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

5. Paid services (future)

Some features may in the future be offered as paid services. Prices, billing terms, cancellation and refund conditions will be clearly presented before any purchase, and supplementary terms will apply to paid features at that time. Korean e-commerce consumer protections (including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) will apply to purchases where required by law.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work to keep content accurate and the Service reliable, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content (including translations and audio) is free of inaccuracies.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rovn shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. For free services, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (zero); where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or harms the Service or other users. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
