Why Koreans say it this way
집들이 (housewarming) is a must-do Korean tradition. Standard gifts: 화장지 (toilet paper = life unrolls smoothly), 세제 (detergent = cleansing the new space). DON'T bring candles or red items — some consider them bad luck for new homes.
